About the event
Tantra is a very misunderstood path in this modern world, often seen as purely a spiritual intimacy practice or something for hedonism, but the tradition offers so much that any modern human could get a lot from!
One of the goals of the Tantric path is 'embodied liberation' which refers to the attainment of spiritual freedom through the integration and transformation of all aspects of one's being—physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.
Unlike some other spiritual traditions that may emphasize renunciation or detachment from the body and worldly experiences, Tantra views the body, senses, emotions, and desires as vehicles for spiritual growth and realization. we aim to become radically intimate with life, without clinging or avoiding experiences.
In Tantra, liberation is not seen as something to be attained by transcending the body or worldly existence, but rather by fully embracing and engaging with them. Embodied liberation involves transcending the limitations of the ego and the dualistic mind while fully embodying the divine nature inherent in all aspects of existence. We see the body as a sacred vessel for consciousness and our individuality as a vital aspect of the greater pattern expressing uniquely through us.
In this workshop, we will dive deeper into this discussion, diving into the Sensual philosophy and embodied teachings of Tantra and how it applies to your life.
You will get to experience a Tantric practice based on an original ancient teaching and be inspired to the potential of this path.
- What is the spiritual goal and focus of Tantra?
- What does it mean to live sensually embodied and connected to the sacred?
- What does it really mean to Awaken? And how to we embody those realisations?
- How real Tantric yoga is decolonization work and has a sacred activism heart
- Why liberating ourselves can support the liberation of all

Liberating Love Collective is a substance-free space (unless we are ceremonially using cacao or blue lotus). Do not arrive to any events under the influence of marijuana, alcohol or other substances or you will be asked to leave with no refunds as this is a consent violation for those who wish to engage with others in a sober, conscious way. Substance use is one of the biggest contributors to both the violation of others boundaries and the missing of our own 'no' and deeper intuition.
Please do not wear any perfumes, body sprays or other strong scents. Our team have chemical sensitivities and perfumes can give us migranes and health issues which will impact the event. You may be asked to wash off any perfumes if you come wearing them.
For any events involving touch, please come clean showered.
If you have any questions, please reach out to us via the contact form on our website. You can also find links to free resources, podcast episodes with our team, blogs and more which can help you to discern if this is the right space for you.
