Primal Playfight Ritual

This workshop is a space to unleash your inner animal and to play!

The aim of the game is in the name, here we’ll explore the playful and surprisingly sensual and liberatory side of floor wrestling with the twist of adding some primal animal embodiment. 

So get ready for a non-competitive, fun and playful rough-and-tumble! Bring out your inner animal, channel that healthy agression and enjoy this full contact and fully fun ritual. 

 We will begin the space with an introduction to playfighting and safety, move into a primal breath activation and animal embodiment before opening the space for a playfight ritual, where we will all witness and participate in the play.

 This workshop is for people who enjoy some rough body play, letting out their inner animal and their inner child at the same time!

We have 3 levels of play, from soft and silly to full-blown-feral. Choose level 3 at your own risk

Generally we do the sessions for 3 minutes each with 2 people but towards the end we can open to more group play and fluidity. 

DRUMMERS WELCOME! We'd LOVE to have live drummers playing for the ritual to get people into the vibe. You're welcome to attend free if you're up for drumming (We need at least 2 drummers for this to work)

What to wear: Yoga type clothes, rash guards etc. Things made for fitness! No jewellery

 Please bring a sweat towel and waterbottle. 

Play at your own risk, injuries are known to happen when things get wild.
