About the event
The Dance of Intimacy is a contact-dance space that invites and exploration of the many different fascets of intimacy and connection.
This is a different space to your typical contact improvisation events and jams-
We allow and welcome different flavours of connection- playfulness, sensuality, stillness, ecstatic, primal, grief, tenderness- the whole landscape of our emotionality and embodied expression is welcome in the space.
Through consensual touch, presence, attunement and creative exploration we open a space for the authentic aliveness of each dynamic to emerge.
Through the space we learn about our impulses, our desires, our habits of clinging or avoiding, our fawning and our pushing. We bring these unconscious dynamics to the light and allow the space to become a laboratory of intimacy in all it's shades.
