The Dance of Surrender - Tantrik movement meditation

The Dance of Surrender is a Tantrik movement/dance meditation, inviting you to surrender the 'doer' and allow life to move through you, as we journey from the density of physical matter into eternal spaciousness of our unbound self.

Inspired by the 'Tandava' practice shared by Daniel Odier, and including some meditative techniques from the Vijñāna-bhairava-Tantra, this is a powerful form of movement meditation that can bring about awakening and liberation when one can fully let go and surrender to it.

By fully immersing ourselves in the movement and energy of the dance, we can access deeper states of consciousness and connect with the divine within and all around us. We experience ourselves beyond the physical body but also deeply embodied.

The practice is blindfolded to allow us to fully drop in and let go of the need to watch others or care about how we look. There is an option…
